Caster Semenya has been subjected to the biggest tom-boy witch hunt of the year. This is one story that should be left out of the press, yet its both sad and funny at the same time. Sad that track and field officials have gone public with their gender testing and not considering they could be wrong yet convicting a young 18 year old in the court of public opinion. Funny well because even with the make-up a South African magazine is really going out of their way to make her beautiful on a cover of a magazine. She is a big tom boy that is for sure!
The embattled 18 year old South African track star has now given up the chest thumping, corn row image for a more feminine let your hair down, get your nails done, and cover those BIG TOM-BOYISH wrists with a zillion shiny braclets.
Give credit where credit is due with South African media and people supporting their own. With her new found fame we are going to at the very least see her country people, managers, the track and field execs of South Africa getting her more feminized and looking like FloJo the US tom-boy turned track goddess of the eighties!
Wonder if FloJo was ever subjected to the humility of a gender test? Only Al Joyner knows.
